About me

For over ten years, I have been working artistically and academically in the field of visual arts, cultural mediation and cultural education - I am particularly interested in intersectional, queer-feminist and anti-discriminatory perspectives on digitality and artistic educational processes. In my own work, I pursue participatory methods out of conviction and focus on cultural participation.

In 2016, I completed my degree in primary school teaching with art as a subject. Since then, I have been working artistically, scientifically and pedagogically with the visual arts and their mediation processes. I did this as a research assistant at the Institute for Art Education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in teaching and research. Since 2017, I have also been co-founder of the art and culture blog aktuellkulturell. As part of my dissertation, I researched the use of digital media in museum art education. I then worked as a research assistant in digital education and mediation at the Hamburger Kunsthalle, and since January 2024 I have been head of the art education department at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg. In addition, I work as a freelance art educator at museums and independent organizations or as a lecturer at cultural institutions (Bundesakademie Wolfenbüttel, Deutscher Museumsbund, Kulturstiftung des Bundes).

In my artistic work, I deal with anthropocene living environments between nature and digitalization, self-design and environmental shaping. In this context, I design exhibitions or take part in group shows. I draw new inspiration from these various activities on a daily basis and prefer to learn from and with a wide variety of groups, people and perspectives.
