About me

I am a visual artist, researcher, and educator working at the intersection of art, cultural mediation, and education. My practice is driven by a deep commitment to participatory methods and a strong focus on cultural participation. I explore how artistic and educational processes can be shaped through intersectional, queer-feminist, and anti-discriminatory perspectives—especially in the context of digital culture.

After completing my degree in Art and Primary Education in 2016, I began working across artistic, academic, and pedagogical settings to engage with visual art and its mediation. I held a research position at the Institute for Art Education at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where I was active in both teaching and research. Since 2017, I have also been co-editor of the independent art and culture blog aktuellkulturell.

In my PhD project, I examined the role of digital media in museum-based art education. This led me to the Hamburger Kunsthalle, where I worked as a research associate in digital education and mediation. From January 2024 to March 2025, I have been heading the art education department at the Museum der Moderne Salzburg. As of April 2025, I will be based in Singapore for an extended research and artistic residency, where I continue to pursue my practice as an artist, educator, and scholar.

In addition to my institutional roles, I continue to work independently as an art educator and lecturer for museums, cultural foundations, and professional development institutions such as the Bundesakademie Wolfenbüttel, the German Museum Association, and the German Federal Cultural Foundation.

Artistically, I explore the lived realities of the Anthropocene—between nature and digitality, self-design and environmental design. I develop my own exhibitions or contribute to group shows, always inspired by exchange and collaboration. I learn best by working with and from diverse groups, voices, and perspectives.
