Narratives of growth, the relationship between human, environment and aesthetic perception in analogue and digital worlds - these themes have been the focus of my artistic research work for years. My starting point is a critical perspective on the human self-understanding in the age of the Anthropocene. For example, based on nature photographs, I investigate or by means of video fragments the abstraction of organic forms to their essence plant, geological and human. I combine references to scientific
Images and insights, art historical positions and textual foundations from literature
and music. I mix this with highly subjective memories and autobiographical inspirations. As media of expression I use topic-specific painting on canvas, mixed media, photography, video installation or augmented reality. My artistic and scientific work always shows connections,
Overlaps in topics and references to, for example, the methodological area.
