Exhibition echtZEIT

With selected works I am part of the group exhibition echtZEIT at xpon-art Gallery.

A play of imaginative journey and digital encounter in real time is created by ANJA GEBAUER (@gebauer.anja) through the live transmission of a webcam from her home region, the Alps: Alongside selected drawings and paintings on this theme, she questions their inaccessibility while also engaging with René Daumal’s unfinished novel Mount Analogue — the mountain as a metaphor for what is humanly unconquerable. At the opening and approximately every two weeks during the exhibition, she produces new drawings based on the webcam’s view. These works flow into the exhibition as both artistic approach and documentation of a changing mountain landscape — one to which she is simultaneously reconnecting as she moves from Hamburg to Salzburg.
